Emeril Lagasse’s Red Beans and Rice Recipe Links

Hi everyone,

I wish I could just put Emeril’s recipes on this blog, but because of copyright restrictions I can only post the links to his recipes. They look delicious! Lots of flavor, but not too spicy. Both recipes have a lot of meat. The first link is to Emeril’s website, the second link is to the food network’s website.

Remember me saying there are many recipes, and even individual cooks have multiple recipes for red beans and rice? Here’s a prime example. These two recipes are different enough from each other to produce two subtly different, and I’m sure, equally mouthwatering dishes.

I’m going to try these recipes soon. I don’t have all the ingredients to make them exactly as published, so it will have to wait for a trip to the grocery store.

    I love Emeril Lagasse and was so glad to see him mentioned on your website. I am a huge fan of Louisiana cooking yet there are very few chefs that I have come across where the recipes really inspire me when it comes to cooking. There are very few recipes that I don’t like from Emeril Lagasse. I have even gone as far as buying his recommended brand of spices that are available on the market. My kids don’t like a lot of spice in their food and you were correct to say that Emeril Lagasse doesn’t use a lot of spice and instead uses a lot of flavor in his recipes. I was wondering you do get to try the two recipes that you’ve offered links for in his post? And if so, what I do think of both of them?

    I have to admit I haven’t tried his red beans and rice recipes. But its only because my family is not a huge fan of red beans and rice. But I love it, and would love to incorporate it as a main dish one night for my family. However, there still the problem of my family not been huge fans of the dish. So, what I thought I might try, is to offer up several different recipes including Emeril’s and see if one of them sounds good enough to agree on. Or, I could simply just make this dish for myself for lunch sometime! Anyway I go about it it’s good eats. Thank you for sharing this great article post!
